Shopping Topper

Recently I visited a departmental store which stacked fire safety equipments. Amongst the diverse range of products, I was surprised to see a compact folding Fire Ladder which opens in an instant. The attendant explained that the folding ladder could be hooked by sturdy metal hooks and a number of steel brackets to window sills which allows the ladder to be lowered. He cited an example of the neighboring apartment’s fire outbreak where the inmates had used such a type of fire ladder to escape from the upper storey window.
