One of the biggest mistakes that many new salon owners make is thinking that they have to purchase all of their equipment new. Rather than wasting all of the money on new equipment you can purchase hair salon furniture that is used but in good condition. You then have the choice of giving the piece a makeover if necessary to ensure it fits into your needs and atmosphere. For example, if you find a piece of hair salon furniture in a style you love, such as a chair but the color is all wrong you could opt to have the chair reupholstered to a color that would fit your design better.
