My hobby is collecting antiques. My latest find was antique teak furniture.

I have always frequented yard sales, garage sales, estate sales, and flea markets. I began collecting antiques as a hobby. I have furnished and decorated my home with many of the items that I have purchased. My latest find was a beautiful set of antique teak furniture. I found it at an estate sale. It was well cared for. Although the set is over one hundred years old, it still looks brand new. I decided to put the furniture in my sun room. The sun shines into the room very brightly, but teak will not fade due to the sunlight. I have been looking for furniture for the room for quite some time. I finally found exactly what I was looking for… an antique furniture set that is perfect because it will not fade.

When shopping for yarn, choose the weight that your project calls for.

When it comes to yarn, there are many brands available. Discount stores like Wal-Mart carry quite a few brands, and craft stores usually stock even more. It is important to remember what type of yarn your project calls for when you are yarn shopping. Brand does not matter as much as weight. There are several weights available for purchase. If your project calls for a 4-ply weight, you would not want to purchase a 2-ply weight; and vice versa. If you purchase the wrong weight, your project may not turn out. There is nothing worse than spending a lot of time on a project and getting negative results. A successful project depends on the use of the proper materials.
