For very large television sets, one would likely be better off with a plasma tv set, the way both the market and technology is going. Not only are large plasma sets able to deliver better performance at less a lower price for extremely large television sets,  plasma tv  sets could be viewed from any normal viewing angle without problems. This simply is not yet possible with LCD TV sets, even with their great improvements. There will always tend to be inconsistencies in picture once the viewer has changed his viewing angle.
