A water filter can significantly decrease your risk from suffering from any waterborne diseases. If you have a child in the house, it would be especially important to install a water filter as the immune systems of children tend to be quite weak compare to an adult’s. If you do not have a water filter installed, make sure to drink only bottled water in the mean time and never swallow any water when bathing or brushing your teeth. You could be surprised how little contaminated water is needed to make you sick.
