Jan 17, 2008 in Shopping

Thee are quite a number of ring tone formats available and if you want to enjoy your cellular ringtones, it becomes important to know on occasion what formats your phone or mobile device can play back. Among those still being used are eMelody, iMelody, KWS, MIDI, Morse code (a sort of novelty format), MOT, Mp3 (very common these days), Nokia Smart Messaging, PDB (for Palm computers and PDA phones), QCP, RTTTL, RTX, WAV, AAC, and quite a few others. If your phone does not support a certain format, it will be unable to play cellular ringtones that use that particular formatting.

Television signals sent by terrestrial transmitters suffer from quite a few problems that make them inferior to free satellite tv  systems in many respects. First, signals get distorted and deteriorate the further one is from a TV transmitter, which means to get good reception; one has to be close to the transmitter. Next line-of-sight can be a problem, as terrain, trees, and buildings can block television signals. Free satellite tv systems get around all of these problems, enabling people with the proper equipment to receive crystal clear picture and sound anywhere in the world.
